General and Subspecialty Surgery​​

All Royal Oak Surgical Associates are certified by the American Board of Surgery.  To qualify for this certification, each surgeon completed at least 5 years of intensive training in a General Surgery residency and successfully passed written and oral examinations.  All maintain current certification by the Board through formal recertification every 10 years.  

All Associates have also gained special expertise through added fellowship after residency.  These fellowships have allowed us to broaden the scope of our surgical experience.  As a result, this allows us to offer our patients the benefit of our training from national and international leaders in surgical disciplines of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Surgical Endoscopy, and Bariatric Surgery.
