All Royal Oak Surgical Associates are certified by the American Board of Surgery.  To qualify for this certification, each surgeon completed at least 5 years of intensive training in a General Surgery residency and successfully passed written and oral examinations.  All maintain current certification by the Board through formal recertification every 10 years.

All Associates have also gained special expertise through added fellowship after residency.  As a result, our patients benefit from the depth of our training from national and international leaders in surgical disciplines of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic / Robotic Surgery, and Bariatric Surgery. Our center is an accredited Bariatric Center, as deemed by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery
